Health officials in Hyderampur have started operations to operate a new andrology lab in the state capital, Hyderabad.
The Telangana Telanganas Health Department has launched a project to launch a new Andrology lab at the Telangani Medical College Hospital in Hyderapuram on Monday.
The lab is expected to bring in new medicines for the Telugu region.
The project, to be led by Dr Sudhakar Rao, is aimed at providing medicines to Telangans with heart, liver and skin diseases.
Dr Rao has been working with the Telugani Telanganes to develop drugs for the disease.
He has also been working on the Telganas National Centre for Medical Research to develop medicines.
He said he has been planning the project for the last two years.
The Hyderabad Telangam Telangane Medical College hospital will be a focal point for the project.
It will be connected to the Telogis National Centre of Medical Research and the Andrology laboratory at the Hyderabad National Hospital.
The medical center has two facilities – the National Centre and the Telga Health Institute.
The new Andrological laboratory will be located at the Medical College of Hyderampura, said Dr Rao.
The hospital has two operating theatres and will be one of the first in the country to have a dedicated Andrologic clinic.
