German news site Bild reported that the number of new doctors per year has dropped in the last 10 years, and many will likely never get a degree.
As a result, the number and type of patients they will see have risen and more patients are entering the practice, a trend that could lead to higher rates of morbidity and mortality in the coming decades.
“The future is now.
But the current trend does not mean that we will have a new generation of doctors.
The new doctors who are going to come in will have to be better prepared for the new patient population,” a medical director of the hospital said.
Doctors and nurses are not the only ones worried about the aging population.
“Andrology is a very complicated field, so I have been worried about how we are going forward.
But I also have to admit that I am not really looking to retire at this point,” a woman said.
