A new app called ‘Perfil’ is coming to Android Wear, and it’s aiming to change the way you interact with your phone.
Perfil is the brainchild of designer and engineer and its first release has just been made available to developers for free.
You’ll need a compatible Android Wear device (though the app is currently available on the Apple Watch and Apple Watch Pro), and you’ll have to wait for Perfil to get its first version.
If you’re already on the Android Wear Watch, you can install the app from the Google Play Store, but you’ll need to go into the settings app and disable Developer options for the app.
For now, Perfil has two modes.
It’s a basic version, where you can tap on the men’s or women’s option to start browsing.
There are two categories of photos you can find: photos of the men and the women in the picture, and photos of different women.
The default mode will let you pick the type of photo you want, but if you prefer to browse photos with men and/or women, there’s an option to select them all.
This is a new feature, but it’s one that’s been around for some time.
“We thought about this for a while and really liked the idea,” Perfil’s developer, Lubuskie explained.
They wanted to provide a basic solution for a new Android Wear Wear app, which was the most natural fit for Perfec and its developers.
Lubuski added that Perfil is a “first of its kind” for the Android Watch, but he did say that it’ll be ready for other Android Wear watches in the future.
That means you’ll be able to browse through the photos in Perfil with men or women if you’ve already installed the app, but the new functionality is more of a convenience.
I can’t wait to see what Perfil can do with Android Wear.
(And the other day, Perfercus, Perfleur and Perfil came out in the Google Store, and if you want to try them out, you should.)
The Perfil app for Android Wear is available for free, and you can head over to the Google app store to grab the free version.
